Purple-Blue Clusters

In my very first metalsmithing class I learned to make soldered chain. I didn't have a use for the short length of chain from that first experiment, so I cut a ring out and turned it into earrings instead. I'd had these purple-blue (they're silver on the back) Czech beads lying around for ages and ages, and I was glad to finally use them! I had tried them on some small chain several months before but I like the way the large links of this chain stand out more even amongst the cluster of beads.

I don't have any more of these beads on hand, nor do I have any more of this particular chain, but I may be able to produce something similiar if you're interested. Contact me if you want to request a custom pair based on this design.
